How many linked words on a single page?

You can hyperlink as many words within the content of your page as you wish, yet it depends on how big your page's content is. Usually a typical content page (less than 1000 words) can handle up to several well-chosen linked words within its content not compromising with its overall visibality and readiness. Yet, we have seen content-rich long pages (i.e. long articles, news pages, white papers, forum topics etc.) embedding hundreds of contextually-related linked words within the context of the page's content, yet the overall visibility, readiness and visitor's experience are alright.

Generally, the more content your page has, the more linked words you can have.

Additionally it depends on a number of other factors among which are the subject/topic of the page, the contextuality and the number of other hyper links already implemented within the content.

When considering a page to be word linked you should always take into serious consideration your visitors' experience and whether the linked words are contextually based on the content of the page, are these linked words lead to relevant results and site listings toward the content of the page, are the linked words represent keyword and key phrases toward the page's key subject, etc.

The main idea is to have precisely targeted traffic and it mainly depends on the words (keywords, key phrases and sentences) you hyper link within the context of the content of your web page, for better results they should always be contextually based toward your content.

The concept's principle is very simple: the amount of your traffic and its relevancy solely depends on the linked words, the words being hyper linked within the context of your page's content.

Below is given a simple example: if you have a web page dedicated to the pizza delivery in New York and you hyperlink the word "New York", you are most likely to receive traffic related to the New York alone. If you link "pizza delivery", you will be receiving traffic related to the pizza delivery and so on. Much better results you are likely to receive if you link "pizza delivery in New York" as a key phrase precisely narrowing your potential audience. Yet, it does not stop you from linking many other words and phrases like "delivery in New York", "pizza business", "pizzeria in NY" and much, much more in order to obtain as more listings with LinkedWords® as possible.

Here the full potential of LinkedWords® is revealed, a typical small site can easily extract tens of hundreds up to thousands of very targeted keywords, key phrases and sentences, including the combination of them, from the content of its pages so that it can be listed on LinkedWords® on thousands of precisely targeted keyword pages as in this way obtaining tens of hundreds up to thousands of listings with hyperlinks back to all of its pages, driving targeted traffic life long, free of charge.
