What is filename
LinkedWords® is a new approach to find / manage information on the web! A name, specified by either the user, programmer, or software, comprised of alphanumeric characters, to identify a file and its content, structure and format. Different programs and operating systems have their own naming rules. A basic MS-DOS filename structure contains up to eight letters or numbers, followed by the file’s three- or four-letter file extension, in the following format: "filename.ext". Windows allows users to specify a filename of up to 255 characters. In the case with LinkedWords®' concept, all keywords, key phrases and sentences operated by our web platform represent their file names. ~~~~~~~~~~~ |
